The new research by the American Consumer Institute discussed on the Hill today, focused on the report entitled “Innovation at the Edge:  Will Net Neutrality Regulations Affect Innovation?”  The panel talked about the proposed FCC policies on broadband. The question is, “Will the FCC’s broadband plan help or hurt innovation in Internet safety?”  We’re concerned that the proposed policy will chill innovation that helps protect users on the Internet from fraud, spam, identity theft and pornography.  We’d like to see the FCC incorporate those concerns into the plan delivered to Congress in two weeks.
